JEAKUE at Platformers’ Days 2026: Expanding the Possibilities for Rental Fleets

From rough terrain and high-voltage forklifts to connected fleet management, JEAKUE brought a broad range of electric material handling solutions to Platformers’ Days 2026 in Karlsruhe. Across two days, the focus was on the changing requirements of the German rental market and the role Li-ion material handling equipment can play in meeting them.

On 8–9 October, JEAKUE joined rental companies and industry professionals at Messe Karlsruhe for the Platformers’ Days 2026. For rental businesses, choosing the right equipment involves more than matching a forklift to a single application. Fleets need to serve different customers, working environments and operating conditions, often with equipment moving between sites throughout its working life.

That made Platformers’ Days a relevant setting for JK to present the breadth of its developing portfolio. Alongside established electric forklifts, the stand featured the new RTF Rough Terrain Forklift, the EFL PRO Series, second-generation high-voltage technology and dedicated areas for After-Sales and Telematics.

Together, they reflected an important direction for JK: extending electric material handling into more applications while developing the services and technology needed to support equipment in daily operation.

New RTF Rough Terrain Forklift Takes Center Stage

One of the main points of interest at JK’s stand was the new RTF Rough Terrain Forklift.

Rough-terrain applications present a different set of challenges from conventional warehouse operations. Construction sites, agricultural environments and outdoor industrial areas require equipment that can handle uneven surfaces, changing ground conditions and demanding working environments.

JK’s new RTF range brings high-voltage lithium-ion technology into this segment, with models covering lifting capacities from 2.5 to 3.5 tonnes. The truck combine selectable two-wheel and four-wheel drive with off-road tyres and high ground clearance, allowing them to operate in environments where traction and ground conditions play an important role.

For rental companies, the development is particularly relevant. Rough-terrain equipment often serves customers with specific, temporary requirements, making the ability to offer different types of machines an important part of a rental fleet. The RTF extends JK’s electric offering into a category traditionally associated with combustion-engine equipment. At Platformers’ Days, it provided a starting point for conversations about where electric rough-terrain forklifts could fit into existing rental operations.

EFL25-PRO: Developing the Core Electric Forklift Range

While the RTF represented an expansion into a new application area, the EFL25-PRO brought attention back to the everyday requirements of forklift rental. With a lifting capacity of 2.5 tonnes and an 80V lithium-ion system, the EFL25-PRO is designed for a range of indoor and outdoor material handling applications.

For rental operators, the challenge is often to find equipment that can move between customers without being limited to one highly specialised working environment. The EFL25-PRO addresses this through a combination of a robust chassis, ground clearance, manoeuvrability and a modular battery concept. Its integrated telematics system also provides access to operating information that can be relevant when managing equipment across different locations. These developments reflect how JK is continuing to refine its core electric forklift range.

Beyond lifting performance, attention is increasingly being given to maintenance, connectivity and the practical requirements of operating a truck throughout its working life.

High-Voltage Technology for Demanding Applications

Another focus of the stand was JK’s growing high-voltage forklift portfolio. The EFL12T HV 2nd Gen and EFL804 96V represented the company’s development of electric equipment for applications requiring higher lifting capacities and more demanding operating performance.

JK’s second-generation high-voltage technology builds on its existing platform, with developments focused on reliability, operator comfort, serviceability and day-to-day productivity. For rental companies, these considerations become particularly important when equipment is used by different operators, transported between locations and maintained over an extended working life.

The high-voltage models were presented alongside established trucks including the CPD50L1, EFL382 X5, EFL303 and F4. The combination demonstrated how JK’s electric portfolio now covers a wider range of material handling requirements, from compact warehouse equipment to larger industrial forklifts. Rather than approaching electrification as one solution for every application, the range reflects the different demands placed on equipment across the rental market.

Beyond the Truck: After-Sales and Telematics

A rental fleet does not stop being a management responsibility once the equipment leaves the depot.

Knowing where trucks are operating, how they are being used and when they require attention is an important part of keeping a rental business running. That was the focus of JK’s dedicated After-Sales and Telematics area at Platformers’ Days.

Visitors could speak directly with JK’s After-sales specialists and explore how connected equipment provides greater visibility into fleet operations. JK Telematics brings together information such as truck location, operating hours, battery status and diagnostic data. For rental operators managing equipment across multiple sites, this information can support maintenance planning, equipment monitoring and day-to-day fleet decisions.

This area showed how JK’s offering is developing beyond the individual forklift. As fleets become more connected and electric equipment enters a wider range of applications, the systems supporting those trucks become an increasingly important part of the overall solution.

Two Successful Days at Messe Karlsruhe

Across the exhibition, conversations with rental companies and industry professionals covered different aspects of electric material handling, from rough-terrain applications and high-capacity equipment to service and fleet management.

The range of topics reflected the diversity of the rental market itself. Some applications call for compact and flexible equipment, while others require specialised machines capable of operating in demanding environments. For JEAKUE, Platformers’ Days offered an opportunity to present these developments together and gain further insight into the requirements of rental businesses in Germany. It also provided a setting to reconnect with existing partners, establish new contacts and discuss where JK’s expanding product and service portfolio could create opportunities for future cooperation.

Looking Ahead: Supporting the Future of Equipment Rental

If one theme connected JK’s presence at Platformers’ Days 2026, it was the growing range of applications that electric material handling equipment can address. From everyday forklift rental to rough-terrain and heavy-duty operations, JK is continuing to expand its portfolio while strengthening the technology and service infrastructure around it. For rental companies, this creates more possibilities to match equipment to the requirements of different customers, supported by solutions designed for the practical realities of fleet operation.

Thank you to everyone who visited JEAKUE at Hall 1, Stand H114.

The conversations started in Karlsruhe will continue as JK works with its partners to develop new opportunities in the German rental market.
